History
Phoenix
Engineering Corporation (PEC) was incorporated in 1987 and first
operated as a mechanical design firm with one full-time employee. In
1990 Phoenix acquired Rapid-Mold (a builder of injection molds) and in
1995 acquired the operating assets of Foremost, Inc. (a sheet metal
fabricator). In 1997, the operations of PEC were consolidated in
Maplewood, Minnesota and management changed the company's technical
emphasis from mechanical/electrical design services to manufacturing
engineering.
Phoenix now
operates as a contract manufacturing job shop and offers services to
manufacturers in these four areas:

Machining (Short to Medium Run Chip-Making Job Shop)
2-Precision Sheet Metal (Fabrication of OEM Components)
3-Contract Manufacturing (Turnkey Production of OEM equipment and
Components)
4-Engineering Services (Product Development and Manufacturing
Engineering)
